20 votes, 97 comments. true. If it functions in the way that I think it will, which is that it will allow you to gain 1 copy of each legendary item per character that it's usable on concurrently, it'll mean that we'll have a lot of ascended gear that we'll no longer have any use for. E.g.

What makes ascended gear worth it is: Unique Skins unlocked. Slightly better stat increase, Ascended weapons are about 5% stronger. Easy AR by slotting simple infusions in 6 pieces of armor vs costly infusion of trinkets. Account bound armor. Progress in Master Crafter by maxing disciplines, ability to refine ascended mats.

Does that method still work or not? Also, I have some exotic gears that I plan to change runes from Baelfire to the Runes of the Scholar. I do have 6 of the Scholar runes. Is there a way to swap it without being it an ascended or legendary gear? The same for the exotic weapons sigils since I am planning to change them as well. Thank you in advance.

This would alleviate the cost for the 1g salvage kit and give every ascended drop a nice reward. It would stop the hoarding of unwanted ascended gear and would make ascended drops feel slightly more valuable to those that no longer need ascended gear.
